Fabric Shopping in the Los Angeles Fashion District

Today I went to pick Liz up early from work and we headed out to downtown Los Angeles to do some Fabric shopping. Neither one of us has ever been down there and WOW what an experience.  We were overwhelmed with the options.  But thankfully to this websitehttp://sewing.patternreview.com/cgi-bin/article.pl?id=091608 and this map http://www.fashiondistrict.org/map/  we were set to hit the streets.  We came away with three really great fabrics.. I just hope that we negotiated well enough and were able to score really great prices.  Over time I am sure we will get better.
