We are busy working on our three up coming parties...but this post is about the wedding that we have coming up on November 20th. We have already printed out and assembled 60 invitations. The Bride called her wedding coordinator who called us asking if she could have 30 more. Raina called our printer and he printed them out for us. After work Raina drove out to pick them up and they closed early!! Ahh so she had to drive out the next morning to pick them up. But we succeeded in getting them ready for our bride. Here are a few pictures of the assembly process

M&M Backyard Country Bash
On Sunday my Brother-in-law was ordained as a pastor...and my nephew was dedicated. The whole family wanted to celebrate this joyous occasion. My sister in law asked Liz and I if we would throw them a little shindig and we turned this Southern California backyard into the Old West.

Backyard Country Dessert Bar - Bake Fest Part 2
So tonight, after a long day....we tied our cute little aprons on and continued our bake-fest. Tonight we finished the Cake Pops, as well as making Oreo Truffles and Homemade Caramel Corn...YUM!!! Crazy Raina even sorted through the huge bag of M&M's to find the right colors needed for our little backyard country shindig! We make a great team and have a lot of fun and are somewhat surprised at how well we can work together in her small little kitchen nook :) we didn't take many pictures tonight..but here is one of the finished cake pops and the carmel corn
Thank you http://psalm343family.blogspot.com/ for sharing the recipe for the caramel corn on your blog. The taste test was a success...the husbands loved it! |
Mini Liz and Chocolate Raina
So tonight Liz and I are doing round 1 of our bake-fest (we are baking for our Country Themed Celebration Dessert Bar). We discovered something new about each other...Liz is really into mini everything and Raina OBSESSES over chocolate. We are doing all of this in Raina's tiny little kitchen. Tonight we made Chocolate Covered Pretzel Sticks,
We finished the pretzels off with red sugar |
Peanut Butter Fudge
"will be cut bite size"
I learned a very important lesson...follow the recipe exactly...do not I repeat do not take shortcuts the peanut part of the fudge will not turn out correctly |
Mini Funfetti Cake Pops
Tomorrow we will add the chocolate and decorate them with fun fetti sprinkles |
Mini Cheesecakes
Chocolate Peanut Butter Marshmellows
Too be continued tomorrow....
Thanks

Yellow and Gray Luncheon
We planned a Luncheon for my mom's 60th Birthday. Her favorite colors are yellow and we just loved adding some gray to our decor. Here are some pictures of our event.
We bought some fabulous Amy Butler fabric for the table runners, top of the mason jars, and Liz made some amazing fabric flowers (which I was obsessing over and only asked Liz 1.2 million times if she could make them along with 542 emails with different pictures and tutorials that I found online). We then sewed some ribbon to them to make them into napkin rings. Some of the ladies took the flower and tied it around their wrist. |
We made place cards out of some blank note cards we found at Target and cut out a shape from some shimmering white paper to write the names on. We then glued them to a candy stick and placed them at an angle in each napkin ring. I am also OBSESSED with BLING...so of course we had to add a little rhinestone to the top of each one. |
Gift favors were Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies with Yellow and Gray m&m's in a mason jar. |
Flowers were from Green Leaf Designs. She also did all the flowers for my wedding. We love Shelby and think she is fabulous!! |
And of course we had to dress to match the event :) |

Garage Sales
Liz and I are in the process of planning 3 parties. First we have what we like to call the m&m country party. Then we have Joesph's 3rd Toy Story Party and last Asa's 2 ring circus. It is really fun planning all these parties together. Today we decided we would hit up some yard sales to see if we could find some hidden gems for these parties. We went out and it was a bust. Although we did find some fun fabric for the m&m country party as well as a HUGE barrel of monkeys for the Toy Story party but other then that it was definitely not worth getting up at 6am on a Saturday.
